Senior Database / Data Warehouse Administrator (Microsoft SQL)
• Perform activities related to day-to-day administration and maintenance of Microsoft SQL databases.
• Handle installations, upgrades, backups, and configuration.
• Responsible for assisting cross-functional groups in the design, analysis, creation of data processes between databases.
• Proficiency in Transact SQL, stored procedures, jobs and query optimization required.
• Confer with appropriate managers regarding problems with and capabilities of Microsoft SQL databases.
• Will perform Data Warehouse design, programming, query creation and query execution based on needs of business users throughout company.
• Create and maintain various data warehouse reports, queries and business reporting processes in support of corporate and departmental goals.
Additional Details:
Work under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment. May consult with senior peers on certain projects. Senior skills with high level of proficiency. Typically require six to nine years of experience.
