Hanger Orthopedic Group, Inc., dedicated to serving the Orthotic and Prosthetic community has an opening fora Help Desk Analyst. This role is responsible for providing end user support and software, hardware, and network assistance. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to identify, research and resolve technical problems presented through Level I and II (when possible) Help Desk tickets. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
Monitor and assign tickets in Magic ticketing system.
Troubleshoot and resolve level I and level II trouble tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and some network issues.
Verify issue resolution on the customer’s behalf.
Verify with the customer that the issue has been resolved and update the ticketing system.
Use PC Anywhere to transfer files to client PC’s and troubleshoot problems.
Interface with infrastructure, database, and development personnel.
Communicate plan, progress, and issues in a timely manner.
Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university preferred and 1-2 years customer support/help desk experience is required.
Minimum 1 year experience supporting Windows 2000 and/or XP environment, preferably in a help desk environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Ability and desire to provide excellent customer-service to internal customers.
Working knowledge of MS operating systems and applications.
Ability to work independently and in a dynamic environment.
Healthcare experience desired.
