Level 1 Customer/Tech Support
The PC Tech's role is to provide Level 1-2 support for end users. The Tech will be responsible basic Help Desk Support and setting-up telephone lines and DSL lines for our remote users. Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps. support. Under general supervision, this person will plan, install, and test vendor supplied computer system hardware or software.
Technician Qualifications and Requirements:
Associate's degree in Technology with 2+ years of related experience
Must have experience setting-up Telephone Lines/DSL Lines
Extensive knowledge of PC hardware and software support (required)
2+ years of overall Windows XP Workstation Operating Systems experience
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003/2007 to include Outlook email
2+ years of Active Directory experience
2+ years of DELL PC and laptop experience
2+ years of HP Printer experience
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
Must be able to interact in a professional manner with colleagues, public, and our client's staff members
Ability to multi-task
Excellent organizational and planning skills (required)
