Part Time position assisting with medical billing for a small family practice. Duties include posting charges/medical claims, posting payments, following up with insurance companies, accounts receivable, delinquent accounts, bank deposits, and more. MUST have experience with CPT and ICD-9 coding. Experience with MediSoft a plus. Knowledge of health insurance terminology also needed. Extreme attention to detail needed for this position as well as ability to prioritize and organize. Must be comfortable with and have experience interfacing with insurance companies. 20-25 hours per week between 9:00 and 3:00 daily.
