Overview
As our Junior C# / .NET Developer based in Austin, TX you will use your experience in .NET and C# to help us evolve our enterprise bidding platform that manages all of our pay per click bids with Google / MSN / Yahoo. You will work in an Agile development environment, building out web services / SOAP integrations to external ad partners with the opportunity down the line to work on more complicated UI features as well.
All Web Leads, Inc. is one of the most successful online lead generation providers to the US Insurance industry. We use internet marketing to turn consumer interest in insurance products into policy sales for many of the largest insurance carriers (and their agents) in the world. We recently placed 2nd in the Austin Business Journal’s 2009 “Fast 50”. We are a tight-knit team with a fast paced, energetic, and entrepreneurial company culture. Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and extending our existing C# .NET pay-per-click bid management application.
Development of Soap / Web Services / API integrations and components focused on interaction and integration with external partners and software platforms.
Working closely with key business stakeholders to develop new features to address business critical needs.
Translating high level business needs into actionable engineering requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a .NET software development role with increasing responsibilities.
Strong working knowledge of .NET technologies, particularly the C# programming language.
Strong understanding of Object Oriented software development concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to translate high level business requirements into technical specifications.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
Familiar with database concepts and SQL.
Preferred but not required:
Knowledge of SOAP based web services and XML.
Interest in user interface development.
Travel None
