    Title: Java / J2EE Developer (SaaS, eCommerce, Web Apps)
    Location: Austin, TX
    Job Type: Contract
    Compensation: per Hour

    Description: Our South Austin client is looking for Junior, Mid, and Senior-level Java / J2EE Developers. These are both contract-to-hire and direct-hire openings. Primary Responsibilities:
    Builds enterprise Web applications or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products, with focus on CRM, ERP, eCommerce, accounting or Web based consumer applications
    Designs and implements highly-scalable Web based applications using technologies like J2EE, Hibernate, Struts, and MySQL / Oracle
    Analyzes, designs, and develops test cases and implements automated test suites
    Participates actively in the Open Source community, Java community and has an interest in Ajax and Flex

    Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    Expert Core Java skill
    Experience in a Scrum / Agile development environment to produce reliable code on a consistent basis
    Works great independently and in a team, and able to deliver under pressure
    Thorough knowledge on design patterns is desired
    DB architecture and application performance of large scale consumer applications involving complex application integrations and messaging (MySQL / Oracle)
    Thorough knowledge of Java, J2EE, JSP, HTML, XML, Ajax, Flex, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Application Servers, Eclipse development tools, CVS, and Maven
    Good understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP
    Good knowledge of JSP, template frameworks
    Knowledge of Scrum / Agile
    Knowledge of Open Source community and Java community
    Should have experience in building enterprise Web applications or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products, with focus on CRM, ERP, eCommerce, accounting, or Web based consumer applications
