Systems Administrator

A client of ours in Austin, TX, is looking for a tech level III Systems Administrator for a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing procedures to ensure the availability of clients' Windows servers, SPF server installs, working with Cisco work-group routers, managing 2007 Exchange on 2008 server, troubleshooting both hardware and software problems, fixing firewalls, and providing day-to-day systems support.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong Microsoft background w/ certification required
-MCSE and/or MCIT required
-Minimum 4-5 years Cisco experience required
-Extensive knowledge of 2008 server and 2007 exchange required
-Back-up experience necessary
-Positive Attitude
-Excellent communication skills
-Excellent documentation skills
-Client-facing
(some MSP/MCP experience/certification isn't enough)
